Kelly Garland

Kelly Garland is a partner at PHOENIX and serves as the fund manager for the BDTK, Solera I, and Solera II investment funds, specializing in purchasing performing, sub-performing, and non-performing single-family residential loans as a principal. Kelly’s primary responsibilities include executing and managing all Whole Loan principal purchases via the funds, as well as providing strategic insights for the Whole Loan trading desk and the firm.
Since 2006, he has successfully negotiated and purchased over $1 billion of Whole Loans as a principal, while also analyzing and valuing more than $40 billion of residential assets. Having begun his career in the mortgage industry in 1986, Kelly has been involved as a principal in over $750 billion of mortgage-related transactions, offering invaluable expertise and perspective to all PHOENIX clients.
Kelly holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in Finance.
