Doug Mayers

Doug Mayers, Senior Vice President of Trading, joined the PHOENIX team in 2019 with a focus on driving growth in PHOENIX’s servicing rights and whole loan trading, analytics, and advisory practice, as well as its capital markets analytics and advisory business. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Doug has dedicated his career to developing and executing liquidity solutions in the secondary market.

Prior to joining PHOENIX, Doug held key positions in the industry. He spearheaded business development for Roundpoint’s MSR acquisitions, led sales, marketing, and business development efforts at Resitrader, and served as Senior VP of the client solution group at Mortgage Industry Advisory Corp. (MIAC). During his tenure at MIAC, Doug played a pivotal role in developing and executing client engagements for pipeline and portfolio risk management, as well as mortgage asset valuation and disposition.

Doug’s career journey began in 1985 with Lomas & Nettleton, and he has since held various sales, marketing, business development, and management roles at IndyMac Bank, Bayview Financial, Countrywide, and Fannie Mae. He holds a B.A. in History from Kenyon College.

Outside of work, Doug resides in Santa Monica, CA with his wife and teenage daughter. He enjoys a range of hobbies, including golf, skiing, water sports, international travel, and playing lead guitar in a classic rock cover band.
